Meet Northwich Hedgehog Rescue
Behind every Prickles & Presents order is a little rescue doing a very important job.
Northwich Hedgehog Rescue provides care for sick, injured and orphaned hedgehogs, giving them the treatment, food, warmth and time they need to recover.
From tiny hoglets needing round-the-clock care to poorly adults requiring medication and veterinary treatment, every hedgehog that comes through our doors receives the individual care they need.
Whenever possible, our aim is always the same — to get them healthy, strong and ready to return to where they belong: the wild.
What happens at Northwich Hedgehog Rescue?
Meet some of our hedgehogs
Every hedgehog that arrives at either of rescue has their own story. Some need a little food and rest, while others require weeks of treatment and rehabilitation before they’re ready to return to the wild.
Here are just a few of the prickly patients we’ve cared for.
